Macedo, who founded the UCKG Mother Church on July 9, 1997 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will personally spearhead and officiate in the UCKG’s "Night of Power," touted to be an extraordinary encounter with an extraordinary leader, a dynamic service and a life-changing experience, where he will share 27 years of his personal struggles, challenges and victories.
The "Night of Power" will be held at the UCKG’s new church at the Quezon Building, (formerly Quezon 1 Cinema), Araneta Center (in front of Araneta Coliseum) in Cubao, Quezon City, which will also be inaugurated on the same occasion. The public (4390046) is likewise invited to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event for free.
Bishop Macedo’s projected visit here on June 1, being his initial trip to the country, was met with great enthusiasm among UCKG members, as he himself will conduct the June 1 meeting.
Those who will grace the event will expect abundant blessings, personal healing and deliverance as well as peace and harmony within themselves and their respective families.
Apart from his very significant role and personal crusade in the worldwide phenomenal growth and development of the UCKG, he is a renowned speaker and writer with innumerable publications, many of which have exceeded sales of over three million copies.
In the field of theology, he has reached the level of Doctor of Divinity (D.D), Theology (Th.D) and Christian Philosophy (Ph.D).
Bishop Macedo does not teach based on the theories he learned.
His communion and experiences with God, as well as a happy and solid marriage, are the main important aspects that make his messages lead many people to a better life.
The UCKG is a non-sectarian Christian church established in more than 95 countries including the USA, Canada, United Kingdom and Japan. They believe that the human trinity — body, soul and spirit — has essential and distinctive needs and that finding the balance between them and meeting each need is the secret to a happy life.
Moreover, they are committed to helping people discover their potential to live life to the fullest — both here and in the afterlife and to have a link to God directly without depending on any religion.
The UCKG international ministry is anchored on a single, powerful message which is very simple and effective-"God said that He is the Lord, and He does not change. The Lord Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. So if God is the same today as He was in the past, we want to see in the life of the people who seek in Him the same manifestation of His power as it was manifested in the past.’’
Jesus said: "All power was given to Me in heaven and earth." So He heals the sick, and gives authority over the power of darkness. And He changes the life of those who seek Him with all their hearts.
In all the services of the UCKG, they teach people to trust in God and seek the manifestation of His presence in their lives. Their church is open everyday of the year, for they understand that the Church of Christ must be like an emergency room, always ready to help those who are in distress.
The UCKG ministry knows that people often go through very hard situations in life. Maybe you are going through a hard time right now and you do not know what to do. Everywhere and everyone you have turned to has not helped you solve your problem, and you even begin to think that there is no God.
"Once you discover the ministry and become a part of the congregation, you will realize that there is a God, a powerful God, the Creator of heaven and earth. In the past, He manifested Himself for those who trusted in Him. A lot of those in the UCKG have seen His power in their lives, and it is now your turn. We do not want to change your religion. We want you to know that God is real. He can touch you right now, wherever you are," people at the UCKG maintained.
Here in the Philippines, the UCKG was established in 1995. Its UCKG HelpCentre provides confidential emotional support seven days a week by telephone, e-mail, face-to-face, or by letter to people of all ages, regardless of race, religion and background, who are in emotional distress.
At the "Night of Power" meet, Bishop Macedo will also inaugurate the newest church of the UCKG, the same venue where the said grand event will be held and which was earlier mentioned.
In a message to the faithful, Pastor Raymond Viana Jr., head pastor of the UCKG HelpCentre Philippines, said that as they enter a new phase in this country, they believe that those who have the same faith will see the same thing in their lives. God never changed and He always wants us to receive His power in our life.
"The UCKG is here for those who are suffering. We want to let them know that God can change and save them. By faith, we believe that God will bless us more and more. We will be an instrument to change the life of people," Pastor Viana emphasized.
