GP Batteries Introduces GP 2300 Series NiMH Rechargeable Batteries and GP Powerbank Travel Charger

GP Batteries International Limited recently launched the GP 2300 Series AA Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries.

Offering the most enduring power, when used in digital cameras, GP 2300 Series delivers 4 times more shots than alkaline batteries for one charge, eliminating the hassle of replacing batteries frequently.

Based on industry standards, GP 2300 Series can undergo 350 recharge cycles when used in high-drain devices like digital cameras, unrivaled by other rechargeable batteries in the market, which can only recharge for about 50 times. In addition, GP 2300 Series can retain 80% capacity after 350 recharge cycles, allowing it to continue providing energy for low power consumption devices. By using GP 2300 Series, consumers can not only contribute to environmental protection, but also benefit from enormous savings in their long-term battery expenses.

When combined with newly launched GP Powerbank Travel charger, the GP 2300 series provides an ideal solution for travellers who wish to travel smart.

The GP Powerbank Travel charger is slim, enabling users to simply slip it into their luggage and carry it with them everywhere they go.  It is also equipped with an adapter which enables it to be used worldwide.

The GP PowerBank Travel charger can fully charge two pieces of NiMH rechargeable batteries in about two hours.  It is also able to charge one to two pieces of NiMH AAA batteries. Equipped with 4 individual charging channels and intelligent safety controls, the GP Powerbank Travel charger  allows consumers to charge NiMH batteries with different capacities at the same time without any leakage or safety concern. Alkaline or damaged batteries are also automatically detected when wrongly inserted in the charger.

"The successful development of GP2300 series symbolizes our effort in extending the capacity limit of rechargeable batteries. Together with the GP PowerBank Travel charger, consumers will be well-equipped with one of the most convenient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly battery solutions to satisfy their needs, even when they are travelling,” said Andrew Ng, Chairman & Chief Executive of GP Batteries.
