A "healing process" and "prayer habit" oiling the rule of law and constitutional process will likely save us from national disaster and the present crisis.
Let’s discern more, pray, and work harder!

Striking a positive note, Malacañang has vowed to avoid hostile remarks and instead reach out to critics.
Yes, facilitating a "healing process" will help resolve the political crisis.

On orders of President GMA, the Palace will try to reach out to everybody to calm down the tension and encourage a "positive" political environment, says Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita.
Like a magnet, attract – not repel nor obstruct.

The United Opposition have had the opportunity to express their sentiments in media and in their recent "Resign" rally in Makati.
They have had their day in the streets. And they’ll have their day in court. Fair enough.

The "Prayer Rally for Peace, Unity, and Guidance through the Rule of Law" organized by Manila Mayor Lito Atienza and other Metro officials was well-attended and proved to be a success.
Because it was anchored on substance, not noise.

"We turn to God, even as we stretch to the limit of our own human possibilities, constantly striving, constantly searching for solutions not only to heal hurts and bridge chasms between people, but also to tend to those things that may have been temporarily but tragically set aside because of our current crisis," the Metro officials prayed at Rizal Park.
Crisis won’t likely come if only we pray sincerely like this very often.

"We pray for peace, unity – and guidance – not just for ourselves, but for all our people – the angry and the apathetic, the selfrighteous and the confused, the traumatized and the earnest reformers, rich and poor, servant or master, young or old, of whatever creed or ethnic origin … for change – change in our land and change in ourselves," the Luneta rallyists have jointly prayed."
A moving omnibus prayer for national survival. Yes to PH – Prayer Habit!

The Catholic Bishop’s Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) actually guided the country to a prayer mode when it issued its position paper to the current political crisis, calling for "discernment" and not demanding PGMA’s abrupt resignation but observance of the constitutional process like impeachment, and the rule of law.
The rule of law plus divine guidance will ensure peace – not bloodletting – in the land.

Business groups like the Federation of Philippine Industries (FPI) have heeded the call of the Church for an "enlightened," not passionate approach to the current political and economic problems besieging the country.
People power won’t materialize without business’ backing. Besides, should we always be busting the Bastille?

The Makati Business Club (MBC) and the Consumer Oil Price Watch (COPW) have moved to modify their "Resign" stance in favor of the constitutional process.
Only fools don’t change their minds. And Capital – concerned with profits and jobs – is better off with bigger eyes and brains.

The influential American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) has "urged Filipinos to revolve the crisis at the earliest possible time, within the rule of law and the Philippine Constitution."
AmCham remains chummy – but expresses concern.

More and more people and local leaders are expressing concern on what’s happening in our country today – from "Juetenggate" to "Gloriagate" to "Xtapes."
Lord, let there be a flowering of concern and awakening and blessings in the end!
