Juliana Palermo checks LA gay bars on her b-day

Sexy actress Juliana Palermo marked her 20th birthday last July 12 while she was in Los Angeles, CA visiting her family. And with a gay friend she checked some gay bars in West LA like Mickey’s and Rage.

It was a firs-ttime experience for Juliana and although she said she was shocked to see almost naked bodies and gays kissing each other she found it impressive that everybody was so open with their sexuality.

But inside the gay bars Juliana couldn’t be served any hard drink (even beer) because she’s below 21. The gay bars allow entrance to people 18 and above but for bar service one has to be 21 or above to be served.

Juliana came back after her birthday to shoot her scenes for her latest movie, Violett Films’ "Lisensyadong Kamao" which stars Manny Pacquiao in the title role. Directed by Tony Bernal, the movie also stars Eddie Garcia, Aubrey Miles and Daria Ramirez.

Vina Morales in trench coat, Joross with bonnet

When they performed in "ASAP" in San Francisco last Sunday, Vina Morales wore trench coat and Joross Gamboa was with bonnets! Akala nila yata winter pa sa States eh in the middle of summer na dito, a Pinoy movie fan based in SF texted us. He and his companions wanted to watch "SOP" he said but it was held at night and they live two hours away from San Fran

It was announced that "ASAP" was to be held at Monster Park. "Yon pala sa Monster Parking lot, napakainit!" our informant added. But of course they enjoyed the show, seeing in person their idols.

‘SOP’ concert a flop?

Someone texted that compared to "ASAP," "SOP" was a flop in San Francisco. "SOP" was just a mall show and still it did not attract a big crowd, we were told.

Moreover, July 23 was declared by the SFO mayor as ABS-CBN Global Day.

But contrary to this text message that ‘nilangaw’ ang "SOP" concert that launched the GMA Pinoy TV international channel in the Bay Area, it was a very successful event according to "Unang Hirit" Lhar Santiago. Held at the Graham Civic Center the concert drew a huge crowd and this will be proven when the "SOP" concert led by Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Jaya and Janno Gibbs among others, will be aired locally this coming Sunday.
