Even though their first date kinda flopped (because he had drunk too much in his nervousness), Bobby continued to pursue his court-ship. Surprisingly, Anna said "yes" to a second date. From thereon their relationship developed into love and on an excursion to Subic, she again said "yes" when Bobby proposed.
The wedding was intimate and elegant, held on a sunny afternoon at San Roque Chapel in SBMA which was adorned with tents, white roses and sampaguitas. The couple’s parents were there — Anton and Tessa Atilano and Bob and Betsy Tenchavez. Both Anna and Bobby are firstborn children. She is a cum laude graduate of UA&P and Bobby, a cum laude graduate at SNHU (Southern New Hampshire univrsity) in Manchester USA.
Anna looked radiant in her silver chantilly lace gown. Bobby wore a barong tagalog by JC Buendia.
Ninongs and ninangs were Paeng Atilano, Gery Reyes, Mon Garcia, Sonny Reyes and Rodigo Andres; former Olongapo mayor Kate Gordon, Ceci Cruz, Dolly Galang, Apples Meer and Helen Osias.
Secondary sponsors were Caro Lorenzano and Ria Limjoco (veil), Roldan Capito and Rosa Liamson (cord), Ace Eubanas and Beebee Tongco (candle).
Bobby had two best men, his brothers Boom and Butz Tenchavez. Maid of honor was Guia Atilano. Bridesmaids were Bern and Berry Tenchavez, Alsa and Nina Atilano, followed by junior bridesmaid Lui Tenchavez, flower girls Natasha Reyes and Bea, Gabbie and Keena Atilano.
At the wedding reception, held at the Subic Yatch Club, Senator Dick Gordon had heads turning… also noted were PATTS chairman Amboy and president Nini Valdez, BCDA president Rogie and Binggay Simeon, UCPB stock brokerage president Luie and Vicky Basa, Manila Jaycees president Jing and Honey Carlos, UFC Ketchup’s Gerry and Nani Reyes, Mon and Justa Tantoco, Abe and Nini Licaros, North Park owner/chef Raphael Soon, banker Archit Bartolome with wife Nenne, Don and Rosa Liamzon, the twins Randy and Rodney Dizon, et al.
The reception opened with cocktails on the scenic broadwalk of the Subic Yatch Club just as the sun was setting in the horizon while sax player Vince Lahora filled the air with romantic music.
Dinner was held at the club mezzanie where the buffet was complemented with a dessert station laid out by Baba Ibazeta. Hard to resist though was the spread of cheeses, almonds and walnuts flown in from theUSA.
The big treat was the MOBB band led by no less than the father of the bride, Anton Atilano, which soon had the wedding party dancing the night away. Our best wishes to the newlyweds.

A BIRTHDAY in New Jersey. Don Antonio V. Martel Jr., the big boss of Harrison Plaza, always celebrates his birthday with family and close friends in New York. This year, he hosted the lunch party at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack, New Jersey, one of the few remaining Dutch homestead.
Built in 1818 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places of the United States, the Stony Hill Inn is famous for its Dinallo’s Restaurant, which serves excellent Italian cuisine.
Still, perhaps more important than the history of the place, were the wellwishers that day of Don Antonio Martel led by his lovely wife Belen and their daughter Antonia.
Among his guests were Pepel Santos, Willie and Josie Fernandez, Alan Fernandez with his friend Tracy, Benny and Remy de Leon, Al and Lorna del Rosario, Jule del Rosario, Mae del Rosario, the Achacosos — Butch and Olga, Ralph, Ann and RB.
Also at lunch were Dr. Randy and Irene (Martel) Francisco with their daughter Isabel, Mike and Aster Arguelles, Tony and Sylvia Cuaycong, Don and Norma Sanders, Juliet Ticzon, Fred Atanacio,Caroline Tanacio, Beth Canlas, Henry Villareal with wife Emma.
