The San Miguel Master Chorale emerged as the "Best Choral Group" in this year’s Aliw Awards, given to Filipinos in the field of music and live entertainment who have excelled in the performing arts. The SMMC also won the same award in 2003. Ryan Cayabyab, SMFPA executive and artistic director, received the trophy during the awarding ceremonies held last night at the Fiesta Pavilion of the Manila Hotel.
