EAC, Miriam tossers score in WNCAA

   

HOST Emilio Aguinaldo College Manila and Miriam College upended separate rivals Saturday to pace the WNCAA 36th season senior volleyball at the EAC gym.

EAC put one over St. Scholastica’s College, 25-20, 18-25, 25-19, 25-20, while Miriam downed San Beda College Alabang, 25-12, 25-10, 25-21, as both squads improved their records to 2-0.

St. Scho fell to 1-1 while SBCA is still winless in two outings.

Centro Escolar University notched its first win with a 25-21, 25-16, 25-15 victory over La Consolacion College, also holding a 0-2 card.

In senior basketball, SBCA also prevailed in its first game of the season, beating St. Scho, 63-46.

Junior action had Chiang Kai Shek College winning over SBCA, 53-48.
