Samsung has the distinction of having retained awards in three categories for the second year running. Samsung’s 40” LCD TV (LE40M61B) was honored with an EISA award for its premium display technology in terms of contrast ratio (5000:1), color expression (6.44 billion colors, 92% color gamut for NTSC), viewing angle (178°) and response time (8 ms). Also the model’s simple body design focuses the viewer’s attention on the screen.
