Sony Ericsson opens fifth concept shop in Greenbelt I

Sony Ericsson opened its fifth concept shop in the country in the 2/F of Greenbelt 1, Makati City in response to the growing demand for its mobile phones and service a steadily rising volume of clients. The concept shops integrate sales and customer service functions in one convenient location.

The Sony Ericsson Concept Shop, which carries the retail design of all Sony Ericsson Concept Shops across Asia, offers the latest in Sony Ericsson mobile phones and accessories. Full trained and accredited service personnel are on-hand to provide efficient after-sales service. Customers of Sony Ericsson Concept Shops are assured of fast service and the use of only genuine Sony Ericsson parts for their handsets.

Visitors to the Sony Ericsson Concept Shop can purchase any of the latest in Sony Ericsson mobile phones and accessories with full warranty. These include the much-awaited Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone and the sleek, 2-megapixel auto focus K750i camera phone. Also available are the dual front-designed K300i, a still and video imaging phone capable of 3D Java games; the K600i 3G phone with a 1.3-megapixel camera and a smooth aluminum design; the fun and colorful J300i with interchangeable Style-Up™ covers and the popular video game Rayman 3®; and the Z800i the clamshell 3G handset with a 1.3 Megapixel Motion Eye™ rotating camera.

With the introduction of the K750i, K600i and the K300i, Sony Ericsson has seen an increase in market demand in the recently ended Q2 (April-June 2005), shipping a total of 11.8 million units worldwide — a 14% increase compared to the same period last year and a 26% increase sequentially. The higher unit shipments reflected the broadening of the product portfolio to appeal to a wider range of price segments in the market. As a result, Sony Ericsson has upgraded its global market outlook for 2005 to over 720 million units.

The other Sony Ericsson Concept Shops in the Philippines are located in Digital Exchange, Level 3, Glorietta Mall, Ayala Center in Makati City; the third floor of the NCCC Mall, MacArthur Highway in Davao City; Level 3, Ayala Center, Cebu; and in SM North EDSA.
