Custom Car Show names winners

   

The recently concluded 2005 Caltex Delo Sport Truck Custom Car & Bike Show at the Megatrade Hall was a big success with record crowds packing the trade hall everyday of the five-day event. As expected, the main attractions were the sport trucks, SUVs and customized cars entered in the competitions.

This year’s show judges had their hands full from the record number of entries for the different categories.

After much deliberation, the votes were cast and the judges declared the 1996 Toyota Hilux pickup of Ride, Inc. and owned by Peter Nolasco as the "Best of Show" winner in the Sport Truck Division.

Best in Paint went to the 1996 Mitsubishi Pajero of 199 Off-Road House and owned by Owen Belmonte.

The 1999 Ford F-150 of A-Toy Body Kits won Best in Mural.

In the Custom Car Division, the 1993 Honda Civic entered by DC Auto Sports and owned by Randy Lin Sy won the much coveted Best of Show award, Best in Full Custom and likewise, the Best in Engine Display.

The Nissan Cefiro of A-Toy Body Kits placed 1st in the Luxury Custom Asian Sedan category, Best Body Kit and Best Custom Conversion.

The 2005 Honda Jazz of A-Toy Body Kits won Best Custom Car Mural while the Best Custom Interior went to the 1969 Austin Mini of Dr. Wallace Medina.
