The introduction of the curriculum in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management gave birth to the Chateau Santa Isabel Practicum Center. This center provides a venue for training the BSHRM students with different skills required in the hotel industry from front office management, housekeeping, up to food and beverage management.
This Chateau houses one single-occupancy room, two standard twin-sharing rooms, three de luxe, and five dormitory type rooms, Rendu function room, La Azotea breakfast and bar nook, Cafe de Santa Isabel, and the Internet cafe.
Amenity includes the badminton court. To address the spiritual needs of the hotel guests, the chapel is at their disposal.
The center is conducive and very ideal for retreats and seminars. The ambiance heralds intimacy – a perfect place for small functions and gatherings. Others who have seen and stayed in the Chateau consider it a haven to enjoy the comfort and luxury of a home away from home. Further, the center has been designed to suit the practicum needs of Isabelan students.
Chateau Santa Isabel has been built with its HRM students in mind. This new course offering is bent in giving a new dimension to hotel and restaurant management. A hands-on experience would better prepare and equip the students with the necessary expertise needed in what is considered a cutthroat industry.
