Nope! At the Macau Tower you can! The Macau Tower doesn’t just stand out as one of the most beautiful buildings in Macau it is now also one of the most popular venues for Extreme Sports and Adventure!

Developed by the pioneers of Bungy Jumping, the AJ Hackett group has recently introduced fantastic adventures sure to give everyone who tries them A 100 % natural high!

The skyjump was just introduced a month ago. Marc Nelson and myself and the Sports Unlimited group were fortunate to be one of the first to try this terrifying yet thrilling stunt which will be on its way to be enlisted under the Guinness Book of World Records under the category – ‘World’s Highest Commercial Decelerator Descent. It is a 764 feet drop that will get you from the top of the tower to the ground in about 15 seconds!

Here’s how you do it -

First you go up the elevator…61 stories… At the Skyjump desk, you sign wavers, get harnessed up, listen to some very minor instructions from the jumpmaster and off you go! Oh I left out some of the important details… You take a deep breath…don’t look down when you stand on the edge of the platform, don’t entertain any fears and trust the experts who have everything set up for a safe and one of a kind adventure!

Their success rate is 100% Not a single accident. And we were pleasantly surprised to find that it is a Filipino – Elson Cagalingan who is head of all the Macau Tower Adventures. After our first jump, we got really confident and went for a second leap, this time stepping out backwards.

Aside from the Skyjump we also tried the equally thrilling Skywalk X. Here you are connected to a harness from a hanging pole and walk around the outside of the Macau Tower also at 61 stories high. It gives a fantastic unobstructed view of the entire Macau!
