Paying tribute to her fans for their undying support for her all through these years, and in celebration of the release of her new album "Sharon Sings Alcasid" under Sony BMG Music Entertainment, the country’s one and only megastar Sharon Cuneta will hold a special fans day on Oct. 22 (Saturday), 4 p.m. at the Cinema 5 of Robinsons Galleria.
A purchase of "Sharon Sings Alcasid" at the gate entitles the buyer two entrance tickets to the fans day and see the megastar perform songs from the album. Buyers will also get a free limited edition Sharon Cuneta poster, a chance to meet and greet the megastar herself and have their albums autographed. Lots of prizes and surprises await the fans who will celebrate with Sharon her first time to be with her loyal followers since after giving birth to her youngest daughter Miel.
"I look forward to seeing my fans again. I really miss them," Sharon said excitedly.
The album contains 14 memorable tracks of Ogie Alcasid’s well-loved songs including "Sa Kanya," "Nandito Ako," "Sana," "Hanggang Ngayon," "Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang," "Ikaw Sana," "Pangarap Kong Ibigin Ka," "Kung Mawawala Ka," "Dito Sa Puso Ko," "Mahal Kita Walang Iba," "Pangako" and the duet version (with Ogie) of "Nandito Ako." It also includes two new songs Ogie specially wrote for the megastar—"Ikaw Ang Pag-ibig" and "Tanging Ikaw Lamang."
"Sharon Sings Alcasid" is now available in CDs and cassettes under Sony BMG Music Entertainment and is presented by Lady’s Choice, Manila Bulletin, Robinsons Malls, 91.5 Energy FM and Crowne Plaza Hotel.
