Autocross Series today

   

ROUND 2 of the Super Autocross of Team Nitro Motorsports’ Grand Prix Series fires off today at the open parking lots H and I of the SM City Fairview.

Reuel Almario of Wheelers’ Club International, Leila Dandan of Team Nitro Motorsports and son Wilfred Gabriel P. Dandan of Angelicum College will flag off the races starting at 10 a.m.

Drivers’ registration starts at 8 a.m. Highlights of the one-day event are the National Rally Sprint Competition, College Autocross Racing (CAR) and Club Competition.

The 2005 Autocross Grand Prix Series is presented by SM City Fairview, SM Supermalls, Auto Extreme, Wheelers Club International, Symtech Auto Engineering, NET 25 and Bridgestone, and is sanctioned by the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP).

Participants will compete in the Newbie, Novice, Experienced, PRO and CAR divisions. Top finishers will earn points for the Championship Round set November 26 and 27.

NAPA Batteries, Khaos, Wheelers Club International, Bridgestone, HOB HydroOctane Booster and Rapidé Auto Service Experts products will be on display.

Aero Med Ambulance Transport shall be on site to render first aid emergency treatment and transportation. WAVE 89.1, 99.5 RT, DWDM 95.5, C! and Tech & Tuner Magazines, Air Philippines, The French Baker, PLDT my DSL, Aqua Soft, Concept One, H & R Springs, Dipic Digital Pictures Imaging Corp., Good Team Printing, Motor-sports Review, Coca- Cola, Triplex tents, and KIX are event supporters.
