Rachelle Ann records with De Walden for new album

"Search for a Star" winner Rachelle Ann Go started work on her next album by recording tracks with famous producer Christian de Walden of Hollywood. De Walden, whose work with big name Latin stars like Martha Sanchez, Paulina Rubio, Malos and many others has earned acclaim all over the world arrived last week for sessions at the Amerasian Recording Studios in Quezon City. Working with him on the project is Luca Vittori, one of Italy’s top recording engineers, whose clients include Eros Ramazotti, Alejandro Sanz and Anggun.

Rachelle Ann feels very honored about having De Walden and Vittori do some cuts for her next album. "I was scared at first," she relates. "He is like a father. He seemed so strict but later on I found out how it was all because he wanted me to give my best. He brought me some beautiful songs which I first thought were difficult but I was able to sing them. I just can’t believe how much I improved my singing and how he brought out my own style. And Luca is just fantastic. He made me sound so good."

Titled "Dangerous Angel," the album is Rachelle Ann’s follow–up to her Platinum selling debut for Viva Records. Also titled "Rachelle Ann Go," that album netted several hits for the young singer. These are "Don’t Cry Out Loud," "You And Me We Wanted It All" with Christian Bautista, "Here I Am Again" by Jimmy Antiporda, "From the Start" by Vehnee Saturno which won Rachelle Ann the Silver Prize at the Shanghai Asia Music Festival and "Love of My Life" by Jay Durias which won her the MTV Filipinas Favorite Female Artist Award.

Aside from De Walden and Vittori, Rachelle is also looking forward to working with other producers and songwriters in her new album. Among them are those she will be working with for the first time and most especially those who helped make her debut a huge success.

Rachelle Ann is a regular in the Sunday variety show "ASAP" on ABS–CBN and one of the hosts of the talent show "Search for a Star in a Million." She is under contract with Viva Entertainment Inc.
