Ayala Greenfield Invitational today

   

ALL ROADS lead to Calamba, Laguna as the 2005 Ayala Greenfield Invitational kicks off today at the Ayala Greenfield Estates’ newly completed, all-weather, 18-hole championship golf course designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

The 18-hole tournament, presented by Ayala Greenfield, The Bellevue Manila, Smart, and Sony Ericsson, and in part by Petron Phils., PLDT, and San Miguel Corporation is one of the major events leading to the grand opening of the Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club.

Expected to play are prominent business leaders and executives, including Philippine Airlines Lines President and COO Jaime Bautista, Ayala Land SVP-HR John Philip Orbeta, Del Monte Phils. VP-Sales Juan Gabriel Sison, Ayala Land VP Rene Almendras, and GMA Network Inc. VP Jose Antonio Veloso, among many others.

Tournament director Johnny Litton, the popular television host, expressed his appreciation to Smart President and CEO Polly Nazareno, Sony Ericsson General Manager Dennis Manzano, The Bellevue Manila GM Patrick Chan, Petron Phils. President Khalid Al-Faddagh, PLDT Chairman Manny Pangilinan and San Miguel Corporation President Ramon Ang for supporting the event.

There are several exciting hole-in-one prizes up for grabs including a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer GLX and two World Business Class airline tickets from Northwest Airlines.

After playing their rounds at AGE, invited participants then motor to The Bellevue Manila, Alabang, the finest business hotel south of Metro Manila, for the dinner and awards program.
