DR. PEEWEE Mendiola produced the best time of the day for the Overall and Production series, clocking 69.68 seconds in the recent 11th leg of the RMSC Slalom Grand Prix at the SM City Bacoor (Cavite) parking lot.
Vic Joseph Nodalo of Nodalo’s Racing team placed second with a time of 70.04 seconds while Danny Santiago of Shago Racing (70.18) and Emerson Ocampo (72.48) and Daryl Flores (72.54), both of the Cabanatuan Auto Club Racing Team finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
Dr. Mendiola bagged a total cash prize of
R6,500 while Nodalo, who bagged the Novice best time of 70.66 seconds, won R1,500.00. Emerson Ocampo of Cabanatuan Auto Club Racing Team made the Front Wheel best time for R2,000.
The 12
th leg of the event, sponsored by Federal Tyres, Shell Helix Motor Oils, Fuji Films, SM City Bacoor, Cavite, Alpine Audio Video System, Tech and Tuner Magazine, Stop Light TV, Toyz for the Boyz magazine, Forsc Ink Mobile System, Starbright Body Kits, Options Unlimited, Wave 89.1, Hot Wheels, H and R Springs and Suspensions, Big Shot Billiards, Tripnotic Lab Creative Media Experiments and Silverwind Magwheels, will be held on Oct. 23 at the SM City-Fairview parking lot.
