Following its success in previous pageants held for the most beautiful transgender in town, the Amazing Philippine Theatre (APT) once again hosts and organizes the "3rd Nationwide Search for Amazing Philippine Beauties 2005" in cooperation with the Pasay Tourism and Cultural Development Office.
APT was established on Aug. 15, 2001 to produce the "Amazing Philippine Show," a theatrical variety show that features Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, and Korean folk dances, song numbers, comedy acts, modern and traditional dances performed by the country’s most beautiful transvestites.
This contest aims to give opportunities for the transgender to display their total personality as well as to be more accepted in today’s world, by endorsing friendship and camaraderie.
This year, Amazing Philippine Theatre will once more draw a much bigger crowd through the "3rd Amazing Philippine Beauties 2005" which is expecting 30 candidates from different places.
After the pre–pageant night which was held last Friday, the much awaited coronation night of the search will be on Oct. 21, 8 p.m., at the Manila Film Center, CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City. Big prizes and opportunities await the winners.
