The Philippine National Police (PNP) has four new chief superintendents and 23 new senior superintendents in its roster.
Promoted as chief superintendents (brigadier general in the military) were Senior Superintendents Reynor Gonzales, Napoleon Cachuela, Prospero Noble, and Antonio Billones.
On recommendation of the chief PNP, Director General Arturo Lomibao, the National Police Commission (Napolcom) issued 27 separate resolutions for the newly promoted PNP officers.
The Napolcom noted that the promotion is part of the career development program in the PNP that maximizes the skills of its personnel to handle key PNP posts.
Designated as senior superintendents (colonel in the military) are Superintendents Francisco Llamas, Fernando Pace, Reynaldo Marcial, Ireneo Manaois, Napoleon delos Santos, Joselito Tan, Federico Damatac, Bernardo Florece, Ferdinand Yuzon, Ramon Gatan;
Raul Medina, Jaime Calungsod, Nicanor Casaclang, Mario San Diego, Oscar Fiesta, Cecilio Calleja, Ronald Roderos, Conrado Calvario, Gene Blando, Elbren Silen, Maminta Acmad, Laut Mustapha Sarip, and Noel Manabat.
The PNP Senior Officers Placement and Promotion Board assured that the newly promoted PNP personnel met all the requirements and were cleared from all monetary, property, criminal, and administrative liabilities.
