The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) always strives to assist in the total development of students through the conduct or supervision of student-initiated activities geared towards developing them morally/spiritually, socially, culturally and physically.
The OSA encourages and regulates the formation of student organizations whose concerns, objectives and activities are consistent with the philosophy, vision-mission, and goals of the institution. Upon admission, students are provided with information through orientation and resource materials to ease or facilitate their integration into the Republic Central Colleges (RCC) community.
To further enhance the students’ leadership abilities, the OSA urges them to organize and choose their leaders. Thus, each college elects its own set of officers. Likewise, to strengthen their abilities and skills in various disciplines, the OSA encourages the establishment of co-curricular organizations. RCC has recognized student organizations such as Hotel and Restaurant Management Society, Republicant Ludus Production, Management Society, Youth Community Service Club, and Biology Club. etc. Student leaders spearhead the holding of various activities in sports, art and cultural awareness and enrichment programs, academic contests, community extension services and recreation activities.
Leadership seminars and trainings are held regularly to hone the students’ organizational, creative and leadership skills. This year volunteerism and culture of peace are highlighted. OSA believes that through activities which promote and inculcate values such as social responsibility and peace consciousness, the student leaders who will assume the mantle of leadership in nation-building will heed the timely call for global progress through peace and service to humanity.
