Senior Care Classic set at Canlubang

   

TEAM AND individual prizes will be disputed by a full field of 120 players in the fourth Senior Care Fellowship on Oct. 27 at the North course of the Canlubang Golf and Country Club in Laguna. Tee-off is shotgun style at 8 a.m.

Participants are all active members of the Senior Care Program of the FGCPI who will be playing under the Modified Stableford system of scoring.

Peping Cedo, chairman of the Federation’s Senior Care program, said that entries will be classified according to the following age brackets: Classic for those 55 to 59, Elite for 60-64, Statesmen for 65-69 and Vintage for 70 and above.

At stake are trophies for the lowest net, lowest gross and the top three finishers for each age-group in individual play. There will also be three winners for the team competition open to a group of five players with the best four scores to count.

Joining Cedo in the tournament committee are Popoy Flores, Pompeyo Nolasco, Gen. Charlie Tanega, Pablo Soon, Rey Adriano and Butch Brodett.

Numerous appliances and merchandise as well as green fee certificates from various exclusive member clubs of the Federation will be raffled off during the awards ceremony right after the 18-hole event.
