Zambales adopts Salonga for a son

IBA, Zambales — The provincial government of Zambales yesterday passed a resolution adopting Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman Feliciano Salonga for a son.

Zambales Governor Vicente Magsaysay presented the certificate of adoption to Salonga after a resolution was passed by the provincial board unanimously.

Magsaysay said that Salonga, who was appointed recently as chairman of SBMA, has worked in Zambales for more than 10 years as president of Philippines Shipyard Corp. (PhilSeCo) in Subic.

He said that Salonga has already helped Zambaleño during his stint as PhilSeCo president. With Salonga as the new chairman of SBMA, more Zambaleños will be employed at SBMA.

Salonga asked Zambales provincial and town officials to cooperate in his quest for good governance at SBMA.
