TOKYO – A vehicle for the "active slow life" made its world premiere debut at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show (ongoing until Nov. 6) at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba.


The 39th Tokyo Motorshow had 79 world premieres during its press preview last week at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City. Three of these are from Honda Motor Co. Ltd which continuously seeks ‘to bring dreams to life.’


CHIBA CITY, Japan — With its display of a wide array of the latest production, improved "hybrids" and concept "futuristic" vehicles, the Toyota Motor Company’s booth at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show (TMS) being held at the Makuhari Messe convention center here is easily among the crowd drawers in a field of 38 auto makers from 14 countries.


When Toyota introduced the Fortuner, the third iteration of its IMV project to build three distinct vehicles from a single platform, demand outstripped supply that virtually all units brought in were sold out before the week of the launch was over.
