IT’S more of a box than a book, the packaging a simulation of a small wooden case where treasured mementoes can be stored. It’s an apt receptacle, a design in keeping with its contents. This, after all, is "The Ellis Island Collection (Artifacts from the Immigrant Experience)," which, as the title suggests, contains replicas of archival materials relating to the journey of immigrants to the United States from the late 19th to the early 20th centuries.
