The theme of Right Relations defined in school year 2003-2004 found complete articulation in the Five-Way Test documents, which have also become the S.Sp.S province’s way of assessing the living out of the Trinitarian Mission Spirituality (TMS).
The school year 2003-2004 had for its thrust: WOMEN OF FAITH RENEWING RIGHT RELATIONS. The following year 2004-2005 continued the theme of Right Relations with the thrust: DEEPENING RIGHT RELATIONS THROUGH LIFE PROMOTING COMMUNICATION.
The core values of right relations find complete expression in mission. Mission is defined as "the sending of someone to a people... and the one who sends has a mutual relationship with the one who is being sent." (Miranda, 1990).
In CHSM context, therefore, the members of the college are presumed to have experienced the personal love of the Triune God and have heard the call of the Incarnated love, Jesus of the Gospel The value of Right Relarions become the foundation of mission: members of CHSM, loved by the Triune God, are urged to pass on this love to others as a force that cannot be ignored.
The TMS office will organize with various offices (particularly with the HRDO and Theology Area) mission spirituality modules for integration into various programs as a form of deepening the understanding of mission spirituality and our institutional responses.
The Academic Programs will continue to enrich and make more meaningful the service of learning component of their programs. The Theology, Amoldus Ethics and the National Service Training Program (NSTP) projects will refocus on responses to issues of Justice, Peace, Integrity of Creation and Gender Equity, and the design a volunteer program with the SMSCO/TMS for service in these areas.
The Service Areas will clearly articulate the mission components of their services. The fIRDO will promote greater mission consciousness among our personnel through the unified Personnel Development Program. Facilities will be opened to our underserved for service and human development.
CHSM Leaders will supervise the integration of this call to mission in their respective offices and services. Every leader is expected to articulate its personal mission response as a concrete living out of the TMS and the thrust.
