Cebu-based software development company e*Sprint Software is expanding its market abroad following its initial success with Japanese companies.
e*Sprint president Wilson Ng: "We are currently providing software development services for them and are interacting with more than five Japanese companies."
Ng is confident that this year’s E-Services Philippines exhibit and conference will translate into additional global opportunities for e*Sprint and other local companies.
A spin-off of computer solutions company Ng Khai Development Corporation, e*Sprint develops business management solutions for small- and medium-size companies and government institutions.
It also offers value-added computing and programming services to local and foreign companies, including firms located in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, Netherlands and the United States.
Besides generating industry exposure for e*Sprint’s products and services, Ng said participating in the annual event has also opened doors to global business opportunities for e*Sprint.
"In conjunction with ESP 2005, the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) arranged meetings for local companies like ours with Japanese visitors and other foreign delegates who came in last year to look for local business partners," said Ng.
These meetings resulted in a series of joint ventures between e*Sprint and the Japanese companies.
