Canon Selphy CP 710 and CP510

CANON introduced two SELPHY Photo Developers — the CP710 and CP510.

These models provide an alternative to the photo lab, offering high-quality photo printing and direct connectivity.

The CP710 and CP510 produce scratch proof and water proof prints without color degradation for as long as 100 years. They utilize the dye-sublimation process and provides a durable print overcoating to protect photos from moisture. Photos printed on the CP710 and CP510 can last as long as those printed in a professional photo lab using silver halide technology.

A postcard-sized print can be printed in just 58 seconds with a Canon Direct Print photo connection.

The CP710 and CP510 feature Automatic Dynamic Range Correction and can make prints that surpass the quality of the original image. With a PictBridge connection, they optimize the dynamic range of input data, correcting images that are too bright, too dark or that have an insufficient dynamic range. This ensures much higher color fidelity for digital photo prints.

The CP710 and CP510 feature a retractable USB cable that can be pulled out and connected to the camera’s USB port. Alternately, the USB cable supplied with compatible digital cameras can be used for connection.

The Selphy CP710 is the world's smallest compact photo printer with a memory card slot and an LCD monitor. It allows users to print photos directly from different types of memory cards: SD, Multimedia, Compact Flash and Memory Stick. Other memory card types are compatible with the use of an optional adaptor.

The CP710 and CP510 come with  Canon's Easy-PhotoPrint, PhotoRecord, and PhotoStitch.

The Selphy CP710 and CP510 is now available at authorized Canon Dealers.
