Capitol awards 6 outstanding BSPOs

   

ILOILO CITY, (PNA) – Six Barangay Service Point Officers (BSPO) were cited Tuesday for their contributions in upholding the population programs and the barangay development and planning activities of the province of Iloilo.

The awardees are Genoveva Guevarra of Trapeche, Oton (1st District); Teresita Billena of Hibao-an, Pavia (2nd District); Villaros Solania of Pacatin, Cabatuan (3rd District); Cecilia Caybay of Dalusan, Dumangas (4th District); Purificacion Santoyo of Bacjawan Norte, Concepcion (5th District), and Simeona Pamposa of Barangay Bato, Passi City. The awardees received their certificate and P1,000 cash prize during the BSPO Day ceremony held at the Iloilo Sports Complex in Magsaysay Village, La Paz district. Gov. Niel Tupas Sr. has issued Executive Order No. 260 deputizing BSPOs as project monitors of the provincial government projects. To date, a total of 2,148 BSPOs are serving the province of Iloilo.
