Viking Cars Inc., the official dealer and distributor of Volvo cars in the country, said that the offer was conceptualized to keep Volvo vehicles at tip-top shape without the owners having to worry of extensive maintenance cost.
Clients can enjoy hassle-free periodic maintenance services and specific replacement parts of their Volvos at no cost during regular service intervals based on the car’s age or mileage.
The periodic maintenance runs between 2,000 to 70,000 kilometer mileage. Volvo has available reference on the periods of check-up to keep owners updated when it’s time for their cars to be examined. Purchased vehicles must be sent to the service center within one month or not exceeding 1,000 kilometers of indicated service interval.
This 5YCSP, offered only until Dec. 31, is part of the six Special Ownership Packages that are available to clients. The other five ownership options include: Zero percent interest financing packages, lowdown plus, straight cash-off, credit plus, and trade-up ownership package.
Viking Cars vice president for marketing services division Lyn Manalansang-Buena explained that the service is available to customers buying any Volvo model. She also added that the 5YCSP is transferable, but only among owners of the car bought during the promo period. So should three individuals get to own the car within the first five years or 70,000 (for S60, XC70 and XC90 models)/ 75,000 kilometers (for S40 and V50 models), they can all avail of the benefits of the 5YCSP.
Included in the five-year package are replacement of engine oil, oil filter, cabin filter, gasket, windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, fuel filter, anti-roll bar bushings, ball joints, link arms, engine pad, front and rear, bellows kit, and check-up of suspension for wear and tear. Shop materials and labor charges are also free of charge. The materials used on the vehicles are genuine Volvo parts, and are handled by the car company’s internationally-trained technicians.
Aside from the after-sales services, other benefits of owning a Volvo car include a two-year warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance, and free first year registration. The offer is part of Volvo’s continued commitment in offering quality after-sales service.
