Every year, Greenville College celebrates its Foundation Day with a two-day event at the school quadrangle starting at 7:30 in the morning with a thanksgiving mass and flag ceremony.
This year, the festivity began with a field demonstration by elementary, high school and college students. Each class, from Kinder 1 to College students presented a variety of cultural dances and essential youth form of exercises such as aerobics, calisthenics, mime tics and gymnastics.
High school students performed some authentic moves in aerobics, from rhythmical tempo to a more rustic and physical movements.
In the afternoon, a quiz bee competition among students of different grade levels was administered. Subjects include mathematics, correct usage, spelling, science, civics, current events, and other general information.
And to keep the thrill and excitement going, high school students installed different fun booths like videoke, marriage, pachingco, and jail booths. In addition, various games like roulette and slam-dunk were set-up for those who wish to try their luck and skills to win a souvenir.
The foundation day celebration was highlighted with a motorcade parade reaching as far as Antipolo and around the Pasig City area, The event saw the participation of students, parents, teachers, local officials and friends. Musical group bands from different schools were invited adding to the excitement and galore to the occasion.
