It’s Christmas day everyday this December at General Santos as the city celebrates "Pasko Sa GenSan 2005: Pasko at Bagong Taon Araw-Araw".


This Christmas, the Manila Pavilion Hotel’s Goodie Counter typifies the season’s exuberance with treats like fruitcakes, pralines, and gingerbread. Takeout Treats and Hampers are also available to make Christmas preparations come in more handy. Available until Dec. 31 from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight at the all-new Patisserie.


Some 60 adventure racers hoping to bag the R1-million top prize in the Island Paradise Adventure Race (IPAR)-Visayas Leg or IPAR2 of the Department of Tourism (DoT) will be flagged off today at the Agrifina Circle in Rizal Park, Manila.


Sen. Richard Gordon, chairman of the Senate Committee on Tourism, submitted recently the committee report endorsing Senate Bill No. 2138 also known as the "Tourism Act of 2005" which seeks to strengthen the Philippine’s tourism industry and which aims to create thousands of jobs for Filipinos all over the country.
