Influential singer-songwriter Ely Buendia expressed mixed feelings about tributes recently being given to his former band Eraserheads, citing such events as premature especially that he is still active as a recording artist. This he told the Manila Bulletin during a pocket interview to promote his new band Pupil’s debut album.

Mother Lily feels like a winner this early for having her movie "Blue Moon" included as entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival-Philippines. With some quarters complaining and voicing dissent that "Blue Moon" couldn’t be an entry for various reasons, the indefatigable producer herself didn’t believe the movie could still make it as official entry. It made it allright but not as part of the first batch to be shown starting Dec. 25. Although she would have been happier if "Blue Moon" were to be shown on this date, the official start of the filmfest, she’s happy enough that "Blue Moon" made it.
