Police operatives have found the getaway vehicle of the killers of Pasay City Regional Trial Court Judge Henrick Gingoyon in a mosque in Bacoor, Cavite.

As this developed, officials of the Special Task Force Gingoyon are considering to make one of the six arrested suspects a "state witness" after he voluntary gave vital information that led to the arrest of his companions and paved the way for the speedy solution of the case.

In a press conference in Camp Crame, Quezon City, Senior Supt. Benjardi Mantele, Cavite Provincial Police Office director, said that elements of the PNP and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) found a Kawasaki HD3 125cc with license plate WH3152 at 4 a.m. inside a mosque in Molino, Green Valley, Bacoor.

The red-white motorcycle — which had an expired 2004 Land Transportation Office (LTO) registration — was reportedly used by the killers as a getaway vehicle after the killing of Gingoyon in Barangay Molino.

Mantele said that one of the arrested suspects — Mark Samonte Datas — disclosed where he hid the motorcycle after the killing.

Datas reportedly drove the motorcycle for Rodolfo Daroca Cuer, the alleged gunman who shot Gingoyon dead.

According to police authorities, one of the arrested suspects – Danny Solaiman— received R50,000 from Allan Cusa, alias "Hadji Alimudin who is a "Balik Islam" Muslim convert, as partial payment for the liquidation of Gingoyon.

Cusa has yet to be arrested by the police.

The arrested suspects had earlier said that Solaiman promised to pay them R150,000 once the job was completed.

Police investigators said that the Kawasaki motorcycle was formerly used by Cusa as a tricycle unit that plied the Molino-Samata Village route also in Bacoor.

Datas said that Cusa provided them the getaway motorcycle.

"With the recovery of the getaway vehicle and with the identification of Allan Cusa, we have broken another layer of their group which can lead to the identification of the mastermind," Mantele said.

PNP spokesman Chief Superintendent Leopoldo Bataoil considered the development as another major break through in the Gingoyon murder case.

The other suspects now under police custody include Rodolfo Dihapa Baclor, tagged as the safehouse owner; Efren Ingay Samonte, alleged look out; and Felimon Paner Rabino, who allegedly provided the .45 caliber pistol that was used in the killing.

Police authorities said that they are considering to take Baclor as a "state witness" because his earlier statements that he voluntarily gave to investigators led to the arrest of the gunman and other members of the gang. (Aris R. Ilagan)
