Muslims mark Eid’l Adha
Muslim and Christian leaders cited yesterday the importance of the celebration today of Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, one of Islam’s most holiest holidays as it commemorates the willingness of Prophet Abraham to sacrifice his son Ismael in obedience to God’s command.

1986 Con-Com chief Cecilia Muñoz Palma laid to rest today
The late Supreme Court Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma, also President of the 1986 Constitutional Commission, will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 10, at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City after a requiem mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Broadway, New Manila, Quezon City.
