Out of seemingly nowhere, The Euro Star Carnival, has risen at Bonifacio Global City (The Fort) Taguig, with the most jaw dropping rides the Philippines has ever seen.
"We wanted to provide an alternative to the city’s usual ‘gimik’ places" said Mark Chua of Media Source Entertainment, the same group that brought the kiddie smash "Barney" to the country for the past two years. "Apart from the usual watching a movie and going out to eat, there isn’t very much to do here in the city. "Chua adds, "That’s why when we brought in the Euro Star Carnival, we made sure that the rides weren’t just the conventional ones you can see just anywhere."
With Apart from the G Force, the other rides include the spinning "Flipper," The whirling "Booster," The 360 degree turning "Ranger," and the "Giant Wheel" which boasts to be one of the largest in the world. Rides such as the "Carousel," "Flume," and "Bump Cars" are also a popular choice for the kids. The Euro Star Carnival also plans to hold mini concerts in its entertainment area, making it the hottest new place to hang out.
Though it opened for business late last month, The Euro Star Carnival held its grand launch on Jan. 27. The event, a dazzling spectacle with amazing magicians, incredible circus performers, and a spectacular fireworks display, was graced by many celebrities, most notably the face of Euro Star Carnival herself, Ms. Kris Aquino. To highlight the festivities, the Carnival was officially declared open by none other than the honorable Mayor of Taguig, Siegfried Tinga.
After its Manila run, Media Source Entertainment intends to tour the carnival to two cities in China, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. They are also in talks to the Euro Star Carnival to Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan as well.
For the meantime, The Euro Star Carnival has arrived here in Manila for Filipinos to enjoy, and we couldn’t be happier!
