Nora Aunor can go home after drug education class?
spacer

It was reported recently that after completing her drug education class (it’s actually called Behavior Modification and Counselling Program) in the US, and when her darug-related case is finally settled, Nora Aunor could go home to the Philippines.

For this, one person is very happy. He is stand-up comedian Teri Onor. Understandably so because Teri idolizes the superstar and he has always said he owes everything — his success, fame and current popularity — to Ms. Aunor. He made a career out of impersonating the superstar.

"I’m really excited over the prospect of her coming home soon. Sana masettle na talaga ang kaso niya para makauwi na siya," Teri said. Teri is now a segment host of GMA 7’s early morning show "Unang Hirit."

What also excited Teri is the news that Nora is currentlya doing a telesine in California. This is produced and directed by Suzette Ranillo and also stars US–based actor/painter Dranreb Belleza. The telesine will be shown on QTV Channel 11 in February.

Judy Ann Santos’ tax

evasion case continues

Judy Ann Santos’ tax evasion case pushes through and the actress is poised to fight it out with the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

Juday has been charged by BIR for failure to pay the proper taxes. She is said to have misdeclared her income for the past years and the BIR intends to collect what the actress failed to pay. But Judy Ann claims this isn’t true and that she even overpaid her taxes which the BIR should refund to her.

Other stars charged by the BIR for tax evasion include Richard Gomez and Regine Velasquez.

Incidentally, Judy Ann and Piolo Pascual’s reunion movie, "Don’t Give Up On Us," Star Cinema’s latest offering, made good at the box-office on opening day and the following days of its release but Juicy couldn’t believe the press release that the movie grossed R18 million on opening day.

Phillip Salvador lies

to ex-girlfriend’s mom

According to a friend of Phillip Salvador’s ex-girlfriend Cristina Decena, the former applies his acting strategy not only in front of the cameras but even in his personal relationships.

Juicy was told that one Christmas, Phillip told Cristina’s mom that his gift to her would be delayed because he had to order it from Italy. Two months later, our source continued, Phillip gave Cristina’s mom a Morano glass sculpture and told her that it came straight from Italy to the delight of the elder woman.

However, while shopping in Rustan’s, Cristina’s mom spotted on display the same Morano sculpture that Phillip gave her so she whispered to her companion, "Kamukha ng binigay sa akin ni Ipe, o." The salesman posted in that area of the shopping mall heard her and said, "ay dito po binili ni Mr. Salvador yun."

Richard Gomez’s

ignorance of the MMFF

Richard Gomez displayed ignorance of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) last week on GMA–7’s "S–Files." He questioned how "Blue Moon" passed as an entry to the said film fest when it just started showing on Jan. 1.

Somebody in the studio had to correct him before he could connect this to other MMFF–related topics and put himself in a more embarrassing situation. Later on in the show, the actor said he hasn’t seen any of the MMFF entries.

about Cass

A British friend of Uma’s (one of the four finalists of ABS–CBN’s "Pinoy Big Brother") disclosed that Uma admitted to him how crazy he is about Cass, another housemate in Big Brother’s house. So, people who have concluded that Uma is gay should start reassessing the guy’s real sexual preference all over again.
