English is not only for call centers – DepEd
EDUCATION Officer-in-Charge Dr. Fe Hidalgo on Monday said that the English language is not being intensified for call centers but as the language of information technology.
Study: Most U.S. college students not literate enough for complex tasks
WASHINGTON (AP) — More than half of students at four-year colleges in the United States — and at least 75 percent at two-year colleges — lack the literacy to handle complex, real-life tasks such as understanding credit card offers, a study found.
