The Captain’s Bar hosts the Soul Music Specialists as it continues its "Soul Music Revival" series, which started with the Octoberfest at MYC concert, followed by weekly performances at Makati ShangriLa’s Conways, Manila Pavilion’s Alegria and Strumm’s.

"Soul Music Revival" is a continuing festival bannered by The JB, the new evangelists of soul music in the country.

The JB took "Soul Music Revival" on its first provincial tour in December 2005, performing at MetroCenter’s Atmospheres Bar and Restaurant, Bohol Quality Mall, JJ’s Seafood Grille and Restaurant in Tagbilaran City and in Colegio de la Medalla Milagrosa in Jagna, Bohol.

The JB has also taken "Soul Music Revival" a step further by "distilling" the best of soul music in its first album, highlighted by new soul compositions of the Father of Soul Music in the Philippines, Snaffu Rigor, who is concurrently one of five band vocalists. To be completed and launched in March, all tracks in the album have been arranged by The JB’s resident arranger cum musical director and keyboardist, Katha awardee Leo Ibarra.

While waiting to complete its album, The JB sings to the growing crowd of soul music enthusiasts during the two-month Jack Daniel’s Soul Music Bar Tour.

After Captain’s Bar, the Jack Daniel’s Soul Music Bar Tour takes The JB to Strumm’s on Feb. 17 and Metro Walk’s Aruba on Feb. 23. In March, performances are slated for Hard Rock Cafe on March 10 and Chef & Brewer Ortigas on March 31. Other March schedules will be announced later.
