Leading mobile vendors form advisory council of mobile service providers for CO~OP project The TeleManagement Forum (TM Forum) Cooperative OSS Project (CO~OP) – composed of Alcatel, Ericsson, Huawei, Lucent, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, Nortel, Samsung and Siemens - announced Wednesday the launch of the Mobile Service Provider Advisory Council (MSPAC). The Advisory Council will provide a forum for the CO~OP team to gather specific, practical input on real world network management challenges directly from service providers and, with their assistance, to define priorities for building solutions to these challenges. The Mobile Service Provider Advisory Council will offer mobile service providers with the unique opportunity to discuss cross-vendor network management issues directly with ten of the largest network equipment vendors who are working collaboratively to address these very issues.
