All in the Game of Love
First of all, you may have noticed that the former “Ragnabeat” has been renamed “LU! Beat”. That’s because Ragnarok Online isn’t the only cool game from Level Up! anymore—they now have five games ranging from the cute and cuddly to the brutal and bloody! Aside from Ragnarok, there’s R.O.S.E. Online, Hyper Relay, RF Online and FreeStyle. You’re sure to find a game that’s right for you.
Valentine’s Day is this Tuesday (yihee!) and to celebrate the romantic occasion, Level Up! has come up with fun in-game events for your favorite games. How sweet naman…
Ragnarok Online
Breid and Sprakki are newcomers to Rune-Midgard and they’re looking to make some friends. They’re very picky though and won’t consider you a friend until you’ve established a rapport with them, which is kinda hard to do since they keep wandering around the kingdom. So make sure you look for them in every nook and cranny! When you do come across them in town, just talk to them to gain their trust and they might give you their secret recipe for chocolates! Yummy!
R.O.S.E. Online
Express your love…whack a monster! For the month of hearts, Goddess Arua has cast a spell on all the monsters on the Planets of the Seven Hearts, causing them to drop Love Chocolates. Love Chocolates allow your character to kiss another character and while you’re kissing, a big heart with fluttering wings will appear above your heads! Awww… You can’t kiss anyone who’s too far though so no stolen kisses for you!
Hyper Relay
Hyper Relay introduces HyperLuvin’, their wedding system where players can get married—complete with special avatar items designed just for brides and grooms, virtual marriage certificates, and an online ceremony performed by a Hyper Relay GM (cyber-priest?). After the wedding, you can customize your profile page with photos and even vows for all your friends to see! HyperLuvin’…happened so faaast…
RF Online
Strange as it may seem, war-torn Planet Novus does celebrate Valentine’s Day. Love truly does conquer all. The headquarters of the three races: Accretia, Bellato and Cora, will be decked with hearts, Cupids and ribbons. Meanwhile, Big Lyle and Big Uyle will be happily hopping just outside. If you can resist their charm and send them to oblivion, they’ll drop special items like Fireworks, Hearts and Flowers. Fireworks send fireworks (duh) into the air, Hearts create a heart-shaped aura around your character, and Flowers are for giving to your honeybunch. If you don’t have one, don’t fret because those blossoms will give you 20% more EXP as long as they’re in your inventory. Alas, after a month, everyone will go back to fighting again.
Valentine’s Day only comes once a year and we at Level Up! wouldn’t want you to miss this chance to show that special someone how you really feel! Remember, it’s all in the game of love!
