Movie / TV Fonts and More
Have you ever noticed the fonts used in movie and TV titles? Those flashy, stylish, creative fonts. Wouldn't it be nice if we can have them as well and apply them to our documents or presentations?
Well you can by simply following these steps:
Productivity suites comes with hundreds of built-in fonts, the good news is you can add more. All you need to do is to know where to find them.
Visit: http://www.typenow.net/themed.htm
This site contains your favorite movies and TV fonts which you can view and add into your own application. Simply browse through its selection (Movie, TV, Music/Band, Game, Misc) of available fonts and select the font you want to add.
Click on the font that you have selected to download the font type. It would be in a ZIP file, so after saving it to your harddisk, you need to unzip the file.
After unzipping the file, you will find the font type you want. It is the file with a TTF extention name. TTF stand for True Type Font. Copy this file to the folder: C\Windows\FONTS
After copying the file, you can now open your application and you will find the newly downloaded font as one of the available fonts under your Font type dropdown box.
Of course, the best part of it all is it is FREE. Have Fun!
