Developing future leaders and achievers
SOUTHVILLE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AND COLLEGES (SISC) started with a simple single-storey building on Elizalde Street, BF Homes, Parañaque City with the basic facilities required by the then Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS). When it initially opened as Southville International School (SIS) in June 1990, there were only two sure students who were greeted by five faculty members in what was known as a "Special School for the Gifted". The two students became the first of hundreds of young men and women to be educated at Southville, the first batch of whom graduated in 1994.

Southville International School and Colleges is located at 1281 Tropical Avenue corner Luxembourg Street, BF Homes International, Las Piñas City, Metro Manila. | | HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
The school’s vision defined the education and purpose of Southville International School as "developing learners to become excellent in academics and values, who will be movers of society, and who will make a difference in the 21st century." The first SISC faculty accomplished this by equipping "learners with the five Cs – Competence, Character, Collaboration, Creativity, and Commitment to achieve – through relevant, innovative, challenging and effective curriculum and instruction, and a strong empirical research orientation within an enriched learning and caring environment."
Time has not changed significantly the mission of the school.
Starting as a preschool in its Elizalde campus, SIS eventually expanded to offer grade school. In 1993, the school opened a new campus (Luxembourg) in BF International, Las Piñas to accommodate the surge of enrollees from all over the world. The following school year, 1994-1995, saw the entry of high school students. SIS grew, not only in terms of student population and its excellent and enhanced academic programs, but also in its infrastructure. In 1995, Gym 1 was inaugurated bringing a competitive sports program to the school. Within the original building, construction expanded the library, developed the computer laboratories and multi-media centers for computer-assisted instruction, increased the number of classrooms, renovated the science laboratories, and created the School of the Future Center.
In 1998, SIS formed linkages with prestigious schools abroad, such as the London City College in the United Kingdom, affiliated with Schiller International University in Europe and the United States, to offer foreign college diplomas, the first school in the Philippines to do so through the Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU). Course offerings include International Business, International Marketing and Advertising, and Public Relations Management. SISFU eventually evolved as the Southville Foreign College which has added affiliations with IHMES International Hotel School in the British Isles; Insearch; University of Technology, in Sydney, Australia (1999); and the American City University in Wyoming, USA (2002) offering International Hotel and Restaurant Management, Information Technology, Computer Graphics and Animation, Business Administration and Marketing, and Masters in Business Administration, respectively.
In 1999, the S.E.E.D Foundation Academy, a night school that offers diploma courses in Information Technology, was also established under Southville.
Southville International School became Southville International School and Colleges in 2002 upon approval of the Commission on Higher Education. Initial course offerings included Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, B.S. Business Administration majors in Finance and Human Resource Management, and Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. The school added B.S. Nursing, B.S. Education, and B.S. Information Technology in academic year 2003-2004.

The school now also offers, courses such as Bachelor of Arts in Multi-Media Arts; Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Tourism, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration major in Marketing/Fashion Design; and Bachelor of Elementary or Secondary Education, with specialization in Special Education.
Through the years, Southville International School and Colleges has continued to grow in status and reputation. Southville students have brought home hundreds of scholastic honors, dozens of sport tournament titles, and have consistently contributed positively to the local and global community through their work as both students and alumni. For its efforts, SISC was recognized by the Department of Education as a "School of the Future," and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges based in the United States. It is also ISO 9001:2000-certified.
