SIXTEEN SPECIAL bowling athletes will show their skills alongside their more illustrious counterparts in the Philippine National Bowling team in a unique fund raising event during the Special Athlete Celebrity Bowl on March 18 at the Powerbowl at Rockwell Center.
Paeng Nepomuceno and Bong Coo, World Hall of Fame Awardees, together with SEA Games standouts Markwin Tee, Liza Clutario, Ces Yap, Biboy Rivera, Liza del Rosario, Chester King and Jojo Canare committed to play with Dublin World Special Olympic Games gold medalists Roxanne Ng, Alfred Abueg, Mark Inductivo, Jonathan Zulueta and veteran internationalists special bowlers Anton Silos, Robin Clarino, Stephanie Babst, Larry Cruz and Sara Ungson.
IGAN Foundation of GMA anchorman Arnold Clavio heads the list of major sponsors of the event with Pagcor, Shell Better Mileage Gasoline, Globe Telecom Sa Globe Posible, ACCEL Sports and Powerbowl.
Also supporting the event are Rep. Dodo Ra. Cagas, (1st Dist.-Davao del Sur), Creative Response, Go Nuts Donuts, Unilever Phils. Teacher Mom, GMA Unang Hirit, Gatorade and Pepsi Max, Oishi, Anlene and friends of SPABA. Representatives of the major sponsors will also participate.

The Special Athletes Bowling Association (SPABA) headed by Atty. Gani Zulueta, Irene Silos, Soledad Ng. Damaso Cruz Jr. and Cristy Gacuma hosts the fund raising event.
