A cargo trailer truck bound for the Manila International Container Port (MICP) fell on its side at the corner of Roxas Blvd. and P. Burgos St. in Ermita, Manila on Monday night, causing a mild traffic jam.
The lorry, as Isuzu with license plate XHB 675 driven by Gogene Tajuela, is owned by Logistics Cargo Forwarders and Brokerage Corporation (LCFBC). It came from the Panasonic Corporation factory in Calamba, Laguna and was supposed to bring electronic products at the MICP for shipment abroad.
LCFBC personnel said the truck’s rear left tire blew up and the trailer loaded with a 40-foot container van fell on its side, hitting the center island of the northbound lane of the road. (Joel C. Atencio)
