Security Secrets and Strategies
The number and sophistication of phishing scams sent out to consumers is continuing to increase dramatically. While online banking and e-commerce is very safe, as a general rule you should be careful about giving out your personal financial information over the Internet. Phishing is a type of deception designed to steal your identity.

ALCATEL OT-E159
There used to be a time when bright, fun colors were the staple of an Alcatel phone. The small, liquid crystal displays (LCD) also made classic Alcatel phones rather distinct from its competitors. Back then, I was just beginning to explore the world of cellular phones and I thought that the Alcatel phones looked funky and cool (despite looking like some child’s toy), were a bit hard to operate and difficult to pocket. The tiny displays that showed too many icons, and the antennas sticking out of classic Alcatel phones definitely did not contribute to its good looks, ease of use or handiness.

Blog-O-Rama
Could it be that members of today's generation are blogging at an earlier age? His blog is a well-organized cornucopia of attractive images and interesting insights into his life as a State U student, traveller, budding man and artist. With his talent and devotion to the craft, there's no doubt that Bikoy is bound to be one of the enduring mainstays in the Pinoy blogosphere. More in the following interview:

BROADBAND
I’m sure that those of you who have managed to put up with my somewhat irregular column can figure out that I’m rabidly pro-technology. Of course, I really shouldn’t express my views more enthusiastically than I already do because I know my editor will throttle me for, well, being too enthusiastic. Anyway, let me state clearly that I truly believe that technology is more of a positive force than a negative one in our lives.

HARDCODE: Programmers
All programmers have their own methods of project implementation even if they are all working on the same project. One of them will surely get it done more quickly than the other, or maybe they can finish at the same time; but they can’t have the same source code for the program since they don’t think the same way.

Knowledge Box
Using JavaScript technology, an HTML page can asynchronously make calls to the server from which it was loaded and fetch XML documents. The XML documents may then be used by the JavaScript technology to update or modify the Document Object Model (DOM) of the HTML page. The term Asynchronous JavaScript Technology and XML (AJAX) has emerged recently to describe this interaction model.
