uring the historic match of Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales, boxing fans hardly noticed a new company logo on the pants of the champion.
The company logo belongs to the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) that sponsored Pacquiao in that much-awaited return bout which was witnessed by millions of boxing fans not only in the Philippines but also in other parts of the world. That also signaled the entry of ENOC Lubricants into the local market with a repackaged marketing strategy following its formal partnership with CKW Enterprises as its official distributor in the Philippines.
"We feel that the new look, new package will be received well in the market. It is a reflection of high quality and good product to be used in the automotive market," Kamal Said, Chief Operating Officer of ENOC International Sales, said during a press conference recently held at the Crown Plaza Hotel.
Established in 1998, ENOC Lubricants has a wide variety of branded automotive and industrial lubricants developed to suit local market demands. Its flagship products include Protec gasoline engine oil range and Vulcan Diesel engine oils that were blended at ISO9002 certified facilities in Dubai. Their products included oil lubricants for transmission, brake fluids, gear coolants, among others.
According to Said, the ENOC lubricants have obtained approvals from quality European car makers Audi, BMW and Volkswagen. ENOC is presently working for approvals from Japanese auto manufacturers.
Said added that they decided to repackage ENOC oil products after seven years to make them appear more dynamic and eye-catching.
As part of the marketing campaign, ENOC will be actively involved in the promotion of local motorsports events and other sports activities.
