| Toyota RAV-4 | | "The new RAV-4 is unquestionably drawing up a lot of attention from prospective buyers, as everyone has grown to have a high regard for this model in the past years with its reliable performance and sleek elegance," Gamboa said.
"We are sure that this new model would again be a top-seller," said Raymond Rodriguez, Toyota’s VP for vehicle sales. "We maintained the elements that have made the RAV-4 hugely popular but we enhanced it by making it bigger, wider and longer for a more comfortable ride because, at the end of the day, everyone wants a car they love driving."
Other improvements include technological advances such as a new active torque 4-wheel drive system that can switch from 4x4 to 4x2 electronically using innovative sensors for optimal performance. It also packs a punch with 178 horsepower on a 2.4-liter engine.
Safety features for the new RAV-4 include side curtain airbags for both driver and passengers and a secure four-wheel disk brake system.
"The Petron Xtra 2006 Auto Focus Automobile/Motorcycle People’s Choice Award in April would be the best time to feel the RAV-4 experience. All those interested would be able to assess and test-drive it, while comparing it side-by-side with other models. A good opportunity for anyone looking to buy a car or car buffs looking for the next big thing," Gamboa said.
The event would also host displays and exhibits from other major automobile manufacturers such as Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Mazda, Nissan, Toyota, Volvo, CATS Motors, PGA Cars and Honda Motorcycles.
