Dinky Soliman in ‘Totoo TV’
spacer

Controversial former Social Welfare and Development Secretary Dinky Soliman once again made news recently after being arrested at the Baywalk for illegal assembly.

The proud member of the Hyatt 10 and the Black and White Movement seeking the ouster of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo confronted Manila Police with a "we’re just strolling by" defense.

Yes, strolling along with 30 others all wearing black tshirts with the words "Patalsikin Na. Now Na!" Believable? Well, This Monday’s "Totoo TV" (11 p.m. over ABC) gives you the opportunity to judge the lady who has gone from being the President’s dearest ally to her toughest critic.

And matching Dinky’s radical lifestyle are irreverent journalists Maverick and Ariel. This Monday, "Totoo TV’s" strange stringers stalk Dinky Soliman from her office in Ortigas to her home in Quezon City. But not only did Dinky make a clean breast of the issues concerning her, she even recruited Maverick and Ariel into her group- her ballroom dancing group! Other than doing swing and salsa, Dinky also gave the two crash-courses on painting and bead art. It’s indeed another "Totoo TV" classic you shouldn’t miss.

Meanwhile, "ALI!" (Tuesdays, 11 p.m.) observes Lent with talks on the "miracles of faith." Ali Sotto interviews psychic surgeon Jun Labo, faith healer Sister Raquel Reodica and Lita Dimacali- a mother who has witnessed the miraculous survival of her six-month old premature baby. The episode features Sister Raquel’s healing session as well as Jun Labo’s psychic operation. In this technology-driven generation, do miracles still exist? Know the answer this week on ABC- Iba Tayo!
