The decade of the 90’s has led the world to an era of great changes. Moving on to the doorsteps of the second century marked a new milestone, the modernization of industrial and office equipment introduced by the Western World which led to the adoption of new laws that changed the world trading system, among others.

Strengthening passion for community services

Paying tribute to the 2006 graduates
As one of the largest high schools in the world, Rizal High School has a lot of stories to share about students and their mothers. Some of the stories are reflected in Vaseline Shampoo’s Larawan ng Pasasalamat, part of its Glowing Inside campaign tribute to mothers. A celebration of the multiple facets of a mother-child relationship, this larger-than-life mosaic consists of pictures of the graduating class of Rizal High School students with their mothers at a very heart-warming ceremony on the school grounds. The graduates also wrote about the gratitude they felt for their supportive mothers. And among the hundreds of special messages shared, Vaseline Shampoo picked three of the most heartwarming and honest letters, and honored these graduates and their mothers during the ceremony.

High school students jive in keeping a dying river alive
The young people of today continue to prove that “youth” is not just a state of mind but it is indeed a time of life. In the way they speak their minds, these young people attest that there’s more to being young than donning fashionable clothes or using the latest gadgets. In the way they respond to the things around them, the young ones prove that being part of the country’s largest population is more than keeping up with the world’s modernism but a big responsibility they have to deal with.

BROKEN SILENCE
