Where do you get the creative spark for your designs? What moves you to do your designs?

| Francis Libiran | | Although I’m a very quiet person, I’m very observant. Everything I look at gives me inspirations for ideas…visions. Visions of nature, life, and humanity make these ideas come to life in my designs. These visions happen anytime, when I’m in any mood. My mood for the moment is the source of the color, concept, and the sketch. Since my mood changes, this makes each design unique from one another.
What do you think of creative collaborations?
I think it’s healthy to collaborate with other existing designs and designers. What’s really important for a collaborative design to stand out is that the designer’s original interpretation in the collaboration must still emerge.
What to you is beautiful?
The truth is, there is a form of artistry in each thing we see with our eyes. As I said earlier, it is visions that give me ideas, and I transform my mood into certain designs. Nature is a prime source of my designs. Not everything in nature looks beautiful to many, but with the right perspective, the right idea, and the right mood, it is transformed into something beautiful.
What’s your design philosophy?
My design philosophy is that everything I create for a person must be in accordance with his or her wishes and desires. Joy and happiness are the prime components. Looking good and feeling great must be top priority when designing for a client. They must appreciate themselves after wearing the clothes I make and therefore exude the confidence and the radiance that will then bounce back to all to see and admire.

What is simple can actually be beautiful
Whose style do you admire?
I admire the style of Valentino because of his timeless designs.Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera are also on top of my list.
